As we travel and teach, we frequently talk about our family. This page is for those who hear our stories, and want to see the people we love and are joined with. Only God knows fully how much these people mean to us, and how often we think of them, and pray for them, when we are away.
The Morgan-Dohner Family
We believe we are commissioned by God to be missionaries to the nations, taking encouragement to leaders, teaching relationship building, reconciliation and conflict resolution, and helping people meet personally and hear Jesus. We desire to set the captives free, preach the good news and impart an anointing for healing of physical, emotional and spiritual wounds.
Dennis and Melanie Morgan-Dohner
Dennis and Melanie are in their sixth year of travelling and teaching throughout the UK. They are spending a bit more than ½ the year based in England, travelling to other countries, this year, from there. The rest of the year they are based in Indiana, teaching in many places in the US and Canada. It is always a joy and a wonder for them to be with their home church, White Horse Christian Center, in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.
Autumn and Jacob Kreson
Autumn and Jacob Kreson married August 2, 2003, at White Horse Christian Center in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. They live very close-by, and are involved in the home side of Big God Ministries. Autumn continues to handle the day-to-day administration, and Jacob handles all things computer/electronic. It is a HUGE blessing of the Lord that they live so near us. Autumn was ordained in 2006.
They have both been very helpful with family and office needs while we are traveling, and Jacob has brought his unique gifts and creativity to a mission project for Russia. Without leaving the state of Indiana, their marriage has ministered to couples in England, Norway, Finland and Italy.
We are in high excitement about their first baby, born October 10 2007.
Monica Morgan-Dohner
Following a year in England, working in the Folly's End pre-school in Croydon, Monica returned to Indiana and enrolled in Ivy Tech Community College to begin studies leading towards a nursing degree. She is thinking in terms of mission fields and working with children. Monica stays connected to our Home Group while we're gone.
Monica completed her degree in Early Childhood Education, and works in a Day Care Center, with the unique qualification of loving 2 year olds! She has opportunity to know and care for children of varying ages, from infant - 5 years. Some days she says, "I rocked people to sleep all day!"
It would be a real blessing to be rocked to sleep by Monica, whose gifting with children has been very strong for years, now.
Matt and Melissa Dohner
Our dear son and daughter-in-law, in San Diego, California, have produced our first grandchild -- Emilie Ann! Matthew continues to work with a non-profit organization that helps people move off welfare and into employment. Melissa is able to be home with Emilie -- they are all a rare treat for us, as they live so far away.
Sergei Pisarevsky
Yes, here is our "Russian son." We met Sergei in his hometown of Kostroma, Russia, in 1997. We enjoyed this young man, and an email relationship developed immediately. Later that same year, when I began to fight cancer, Sergei became my very best prayer partner, sending me prayers, HOPE and love, daily.
We weren't able to see him for several years. During those years of separation, the Lord made us "mother, father and son." Recently, Sergei has been able to join us in Ukraine and Finland. He brings an amazing authenticity to "faith and trust," and the Lord has taught us much, through him.
